Double Materiality
The "Assessing Double Materiality" Lab focuses on the critical importance of identifying and understanding both the organization's significant impacts on the environment and society, as well as environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues that may influence the decisions of investors and other stakeholders. This workshop will create practical guidance on how companies can effectively conduct a dual materiality assessment in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), emphasizing the integration of these concepts into corporate strategy and reporting. Through concrete examples, hands-on exercises, and discussions, the contaminates will create a guide for navigating the complexities of dual materiality to improve organizations' transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainable value.

Corporate structures for sustainability
The "Business Structures for Sustainability" Lab is designed for an in-depth understanding of how to structure and manage an organization with a strong focus on sustainability.
Through this workshop, best practices for assessing and redefining organizational structure to align with sustainability goals are explored,
Implement decision-making processes that reflect a commitment to sustainability by involving internal and external stakeholders,
develop a corporate culture that actively values and promotes sustainability at all levels, identify and manage ESG risks and integrate them into the internal control system, and measure the impact of sustainable practices on operational effectiveness and corporate reputation.

Strategies and policies
The Sustainability Strategies and Policies Lab is designed to understand the process of developing and implementing effective corporate strategies and policies that incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) sustainability principles. This workshop aims to develop the knowledge and tools needed to transform sustainability efforts into concrete and measurable actions that lead to lasting benefits for both the company and society.
The goal of the Lab is to lay the foundation for creating a robust sustainability strategy that aligns corporate goals with stakeholder expectations and global sustainability goals; methods for developing corporate policies that support sustainability goals while ensuring compliance with current regulations and adaptability to future changes; techniques for integrating sustainability into day-to-day operations, overcoming challenges and capitalizing on opportunities; and key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the effectiveness of sustainability strategies and policies.

Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability
The "Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability" Lab explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in driving and improving sustainability practices in organizations. This lab aims to create an in-depth view on how AI-based technologies can be used to address environmental, social and governance challenges, contributing to more sustainable and responsible business management.
Some topics to be covered will be the applications of AI in monitoring and reducing environmental footprint, including optimizing energy consumption and waste management, the use of AI in promoting ethical and inclusive labor practices, improving diversity and safety at work, the use of algorithms and predictive analytics to strengthen corporate governance improving transparency and decision-making, the development of strategies to integrate AI into business operations, maximizing the positive impact on sustainability without sacrificing efficiency, ethical criteria in the use of AI, ensuring that technology solutions promote sustainability goals without creating new risks or disparities.

ISSA 5000
The Lab “ISSA 5000” explores the foundations and applications of the new proposed international standard for sustainability assurance engagements. This Lab is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how ISSA 5000 can be utilized to ensure the quality, reliability, and transparency of sustainability information reported by organizations.
The objective of the Lab is to familiarize participants with the general requirements of ISSA 5000 and to illustrate best practices for conducting sustainability assurance engagements, covering key aspects such as quality management at both the firm and engagement levels, identification and assessment of risks of material misstatements, and communication with management and those charged with governance.
